Agatha's is an independent art space and shared studio located in the chapel of what used to be St. Agatha's Catholic school in South Buffalo, NY. The project was established in February 2021 by Kyla Kegler, and includes The Booths: two micro galleries inside the two original confessional booths from the chapel, and The Stage, where international and local contemporary artists are invited to make experimental performances and community art events.

Nolan Barry: Performing Donna & Diane, 9/17/2022

Nolan Barry is an artist originally from Buffalo, New York, who now lives in Chicago, IL after receiving a BFA from the School of the Art Institute with a focus on filmmaking. He primarily works with 16mm film to create experimental narrative works that explore the surrealism of life and tell stories through invented characters. He has screened films in several countries, most recently at the 2022 Chicago International Film Festival and SAIC's 2022 Graduate Exhibition at the Gene Siskel Film Center.

Evan Moritz: Performing Deep Time Network, 9/17/2022

Evan Moritz is a PhD student at the University of Toronto’s Center for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies. He is interested in the outer limits of science-fiction and fact with performance and research exploring relationships between colonization of planetary bodies, the future of settler colonialism, the loss of liveness in the communication gaps between planets, global catastrophe on Earth and off, utopias, dystopias, and the impact of science fiction on contemporary practices.
